The ARKJ Wedge is a jaw-stretching device designed to support mouth range-of-motion and improve Jaw fitness

It is patent pending and intended for use under the supervision of a licensed clinician trained in this intervention method.

The ARKJ Wedge is designed for individuals for jaw muscle fitness and exercise. Proper training and gradual progression is important. We recommend consulting a professional or healthcare provider if you have any concerns or pre-existing conditions. 

It is not preferred for unsupervised or self-directed use.

Each ARKJ Wedge is professionally fabricated using high-quality, safe 3D printing materials that are durable, easy to clean, and designed for consumer comfort.

While the specific formulation and production process are proprietary, each device is crafted with precision to ensure consistency, durability, and safety.

Sizing is based on your comfortable mouth opening— how far you can comfortably open your mouth. You can measure this yourself at home:
1. Open your mouth as wide as comfortably possible
2. Measure the distance between your upper and lower front teeth
3. Use the chart below to select your starting level 

Your clinician can measure your mouth opening using calipers or tongue depressors to determine your starting level.

Most trainees progress gradually through wedge levels under supervision to ensure effective improvement

This is a general exercise device. As with any exercise equipment, you should consult your healthcare provider before use if you have:

• Osteoradionecrosis or active jaw infection
  
  
• Osteomyelitis of the jaw
  
  
• Mandibular or maxillary fracture
  
  
• Active, untreated cancer
  
  
• Fragile or compromised dentition
  
  
• A recent free flap reconstruction (requires ENT/surgical clearance)
  
  

If you have dental implants, screws, gum disease, or weakened teeth, check with your dental team before use.

Yes! The ARKJ Wedge is designed for home use. but we recommend consulting a professional to guide you on proper placement, duration, and frequency of exercises. Start slowly and follow the included instructions for proper placement and exercise progression.

There should be no clicking, popping, or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain while using the device. If pain or discomfort occurs, stop use immediately and contact your clinician .

No. The ARKJ Wedge is a  single-person-use item for hygiene and safety reasons and should not be shared.

Yes. You may need medical or dental clearance before use, especially if you have:

• Dental implants, screws, or gum disease (check with your dentist/oral surgeon)
  
  
• Free flap or reconstructive surgery (check with your ENT/surgical team)
  
  
• Ongoing or recent radiation/oncology treatment (consult your oncology team)
  
  

Always follow the recommendations of your care team.
